Guns N’ Roses is one of the most iconic hard rock bands in history, formed in 1985 in Los Angeles, California. The group was created by Axl Rose and Izzy Stradlin, combining members from the bands L.A. Guns and Hollywood Rose.
Early Years & Breakthrough (1985–1989)

In the early 1990s, Guns N’ Roses reached their peak with the simultaneous release of:

Both albums debuted at No. 1 and No. 2 on the Billboard charts and featured iconic songs like “November Rain”, “Don’t Cry”, and “You Could Be Mine”.
However, internal tensions, substance abuse issues, and creative differences began to affect the band, leading to lineup changes.
Decline & Hiatus (1994–2008)
Following the departure of key members, Guns N’ Roses entered a long period of instability.
In 2008, after years of delays, they released Chinese Democracy, with Axl Rose as the only remaining original member. The album received mixed reviews but marked the band’s long-awaited return.
Reunion & Present Day (2016–Present)
In 2016, Guns N’ Roses reunited key members Slash and Duff McKagan with Axl Rose.
Their Not in This Lifetime… Tour became one of the highest-grossing tours of all time, reestablishing the band as a global powerhouse.
